The first winner of the show; Since after winning, Adrianne has modeled for 20 magazines, including Us weekly, OK!, 2 Playboy issues, Spanish Marie Claire and has also appeared in shows, music videos, starred in films and has worked with some designers. Adrianne made the Maxim Top 100 and is currently signed to Wilhemina Models and Avenue Modelier.

Shannon has modeled for Elle Girl magazine, Teen Vogue, Sydney magazine and 5 others, and has also walked on 6 runway shows.

Winner: Yoanna House, 23

Yoanna debut at the Mercedes fashion week in 2004, worked with designers, hosts ‘Look for Less’, has appeared in a number of commercials, is an entertainment correspondent with IMG speakers. She is not currently registered to any modeling agency but she can be booked through NoPacTalent.

Runner-up: Mercedes Schelba-Shorte, 22

After her appearance on ANTM, Mercedes became a spokes person for Lupus, landed some roles in a number of TV shows including The Bold and Beautiful, landed some commercial jobs, and has walked 5 runway shows. She is now signed to Click Models in LA.

Winner: Eva Pigford Marceille, 20

Eva has walked 6 runway shows, appeared on 5 magazine covers, modeled for DKNY, CoverGirl, Elle, Applebottoms, Avon, and 11 others companies after winning the coveted title.

Runner-up: Yaya Costa, 21

Yaya is considered to be one of the most memorable contestants on the show. After ANTM, she has proved to be successful, and has modeled for Olay, Isaac Mizrahi, Kohl's Target, Sephora and 16 other magazines and companies. Yaya also began acting in 2005 and has taken roles in Ugly Betty, All my Children, Take the lead, Honeydripper, The Shanghai Hotel, and First breeze of Summer on broad way. She has also featured in some rap music videos.

Winner: Naima Mora, 20

Naima has done print modeling for 12 magazines including CoverGirl, Elle magazine, Us weekly, to mention few, and has walked 6 runway shows. She also walked the Project Runway finale, 2009 for designer Joe Farris. Naima is now a member of musical duo Galaxy on Tar.

Runner-Up: Kahlen Rondot, 21

Since after leaving ANTM, Kahlen was on the spread of Vice Magazine, and her promotional photo on the show was used as the logo for Germany's Next Top Model. She struggled with getting signed by an agency. She currently works as a bartender in New York and plans to open her own bar soon. How unfortunate!

Winner: Nicole Linkletter, 20

 After ANTM, for a couture line in Paris, Nicole did a photo shoot with renown photographer Giles Bensimon that featured in a 6-page spread in Elle magazine, graced the cover of 11 magazines, has walked in 9 fashion shows, modeled for E! Pre-Oscar show, appeared on E!, has starred in commercials and is currently signed to 3 agencies in the US and Singapore. Great works! Working with Giles doesn’t come that easy…he must have been very impressed by her.

Runner-up: Nik Pace, 21

 Since after the show, Nik received a contract from Fusion Model Management. She graced pages of ElleGirl magazine and 4 other magazines, modeled for L'Oreal, VIGOSS U.S.A jeans and Snuggle and walked 3 runway shows. She is currently signed to Ford models.

Winner: Danielle Evans, 20

After the show, Dani has features in 15 magazines. Of the few winners of the show, she is the only winner that had her CoverGirl contract renewed and did multiple advertisements for the brand. She is Akademiks clothing line's spokesmodel and is signed currently to Click Model Management. One of the most successful.

Joanie appeared on the pages of 2 magazines, and was placed on the cover of Maniac magazine. she is currently signed with 3 agencies in the States and Hong Kong.

Winner: Caridee English, 21

After the show, she has walked in 10 runway shows, is the spokesperson for National Psoriasis Foundation, has modeled for 9 labels, took part in the video against hunting of seals and is currently signed with Elite Models NY, LA and Miami.

She was a feature model in a ready-to-wear collection in New York fashion week and signed with 3 agencies in the US and Israel. She featured  as a special correspondent on E! television, walked the runway one and done some advertisements.

Winner: Jaslene Gonzalez, 20

She has appeared on 20 magazines, walked the runway in 6 fashion shows, graced 4 billboards in Times Square, NY, appeared on numerous talk shows, hosted style spots , filmed in commercials, made appearances in talk shows, featured in music videos and is signed with 4 agencies in LA, Chicago and Miami and currently works in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore.

I like that Tyra did a cycle that featured petite models (repping lil mamas like me), and a plus-sized won a cycle too. This is hoping there is a market for these groups in the fashion and modeling world. It also goes to show that winning does not always translate to success if you do not use your opportunity well and work hard . 

A few of them have made it and are still making it whilst most have fallen by the wayside.
