Glam Nicki Minaj

For those of you who follow this blog, you would realize that I have had nothing good to say about Nicki Minaj fashion-wise.

She is known for cooking up a storm with her dress sense. But this past Friday, Nicki Minaj revived her image by appearing very elegant in a white short dress and light pink pumps at the launch of her lipstick range at the MAC studio in Beverly Hills.

The star has released her personal MAC brand of lavender pink lipstick and lip-glass in the MAC VIVA GLAM range, with all proceeds from the sale going to the support of children and adults affected by and living with HIV/AIDS.

Very kind Nicki!

Another Fashion Disaster: Kim Kardashian!

Someone please help me here....what is going on with Kim? Is it so difficult for her to accept she is pregnant or does she really think she is that fashionable to pull off nice looks while pregnant?

I suggest she consults with Older sister Kourtney for pregnancy trendy tips or stick to wearing traditional nice looking maternity wear.

She isn't even far gone into her pregnancy and she has fumbled so far. What would become of her in her third trimester?

Who's with me on this?

Biggest Fashion Faux Pas of the Century

Looking back from the year 2000, a survey was conducted by Central Contracts that arrived at the top 10 fashion disasters to date.

1. First on the list is to your greatest surprise is Mrs. Beckham (20%): The new toast of the fashion industry thanks to her brilliant and elegant designs tops the list for the lip ring she had on during her performance with her then girl band Spice Girls in 2001.

2. David Beckham - 19%: Remember the time when he used to play around with styling his hair? Well, in 2003, he was spotted on the pitch with his hair in cornrows, which did'nt go down well with his fans.

3. Lady Gaga- 16%:  was voted in third for her appearance at 2010 VMA's in  a meat dress and hair accessory which sparked an internet row for animal cruelty.

4. Kim Kardashian - 14%: is placed in fourth for her consistent immodest dress sense and disastrous appearances . (Guess her Beau loves he that way)!

5. Nicki Minaj - 10%: The singer who is famous for her bold and outlandish colours landed in fifth place for her overall wardrobe choices.

6. Tulisa (British Singer, X Factor Judge)- 9%: She was voted in sixth place for a pink feather dress she wore to an event last year.

7. Angelina Jolie - 5%: In seventh we have Angelina for the Black thigh-split dress she wore last year to the Oscars, where she was mocked greatly for her awkward pose. (lol)!

Mr. Cowell with new girl friend Carmen Electra
8. Simon Cowell - 4%: The Music mogul was voted in eight for his awful appearances in figure hugging, short T-shirts and high-waisted trousers.

9. Kanye West - 2%: In ninth we have Kanye for showing up in a top-to-bottom red leather outfit to perform in 2010.

10. Katy Perry - 1%: She was voted in tenth place for the west ham outfit she wore to the stage while hosting the 2009 EMAs.

In my opinion, some celebrities who should have made this list were note voted, who do you think should have made this list? Remembering some of my fashion choices from way back heheheh! :) do you remember yours?

Lets hear from you..

Its always been about Beyonce: Destiny's Child Fashion

Much as I hate to admit that i kind of admire Beyonce...i hate it even more that her Destiny's Child counterparts have done nothing to upstage her in terms of their personal appearances. They have simply shied away from self-promoition and have continually remained in her shadow.

Before!

This weekend's show was a repeat of what has happened all the years they've worked together. Even after being apart for many years, I would have thought Kelly Rowland and Michelle could have appeared better than they did. Not like the looked bad...just that they didnt impress me.

With a red face, i'll admit Beyonce's appearance was impressive.

Do you agree, What are your thoughts?

Lets hear from you!
