17-year-old Lena Walker is a charity busker who earns £35 per hour; a busker
is a person who entertains people for money in public places by singing or
dancing.

When she took on the street to carry out her
job role, she attracted a lot of attention not for her music but for her
apparent good looks. Family, friends and the public urged her to apply to
contest in the Miss England competition which will take place in Leicester, her
home city this year.
Lena went on to sign up for the competition against
22 other girls and won the Miss Leicester crown. She will now represent her
home city in the Miss England finals scheduled to take place on 26.06.2012.

In addition to this, Lena has also been signed on
by an agency Modelzed, who work with some UK high street chains like Next, New
Look and Boots.
